Pedestrians coming and going from Ladygrove Primary school direction, cannot see that cyclists will cross their footpath. the signage is on both sides of Avon Way to clearly show cyclists that they are using a shared cycleway. children are vulnerable approaching this area as they are frequently running ahead of adults.

It is important these shared cycleway signs are placed so children running along the main pavements can see cyclists can be coming across their footpath. Most of these signs appear to be for people already on the shared cycleway.

Shared cycleways mean exactly that and as such there should be clear information provided to ALL users! pedestrians on Avon Way pavement need to know bicycles will pass infront of them at raised road level. We are not asking for new signs PLEASE just relocate the one on the school side so young children running along will not collide with a bike.
