Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
I know this is in ‘the system’ somewhere but...! Nearly two, yes two years ago the lamp post was knocked down by a WODC refuse collection vehicle. We still, wait a replacement. Obviously, the matter would be coceeed by the insurers and I have been told it will be progressed. My request please, is to have this replaced before winter and dark nights are with us please? As this is to be repaired at cost to the insurance company, what is the delay please?
Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
Thank you for your report, this unit is on our maintenance system to be replaced when we have resources available to do so, hopefully with a contract due to be taken from October this will allow resources to enable us to carry out the replacement works that are needed to be carried out. Apologies for the delay in rectifying the issue.
