Blue one-way sign has been removed from lamp post so cars are wrongly turning left when they exit Oakthorpe Place.

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 09:38, Wed 19 September 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 hour, 2 minutes later

The blue sign with right-only arrow opposite the Thorncliffe Road end of Oakthorpe Place was missing this morning and drivers turn left (dangerous in a narrow street) to exit onto Banbury Road at a bad spot for traffic. There is nothing to indicate to them that they are doing anything wrong. The sign needs replacing urgently!

Updates

  • This report has been transferred to Street Lighting since the sign is illuminated as they maintain illuminated signs in Oxford. Also the photograph appears to show a new lamp column which may explain the signs disappearance.
