Street light not working
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 17:49, Sun 16 September 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
This is the THIRD time of reporting. First time phoned about 5 weeks ago ..nothing happened. Phoned again and was told it would be sorted in 5 working days ... that has now also passed. Due to it being a cul de sac , without the light at night it is pitch black. Unfortunately I am disabled and need to see where I am going due to Parkinsons disease

Many thanks for raising this with us, looking at the fault reports it appears our contractors attended and fitted a new lamp on 10/8/18. Sorry that this hasn't rectified the issue, I have ensured they go back to fully assess and rectify this unit, sorry for all the inconvenience this has caused

It has been good to have a street light again. Thank you for fixing it. HOWEVER it is not only on during the hours of darkness but stays on all through the day! IWe have checked this over the last three days. While this is not a problem for us, long term waste of energy will cause concern. It appears that the photo sensor on thetop of the sodium lamp is no longer functioning as it turns on .. but not off!. Will you be able to fix this is due course? Thank you.
