Worn through road surface

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Repeatedly reported state of road surface on elm drive and elm close. Today elm drive being resurfaced but not elm close. Spoke to a contractor who stated the job was for 1400mts but elm drive only 790 mts so elm close could have been done but no maps were given to the contractor so not sure if elm close was included and could not understand why it could not have been done at the same time. Elm close is not even listed on fix my street which adds to problem. We now have the only road on the estate which looks really seedy. On 10th sept council advised neither roads would be fixed any time soon but that was a blatent fib as elm drive is being microsurfaced at this moment. Please could we have a consistent reply to this ongoing problem an on phoning highways nobody could help.
Thank you for your report, we are now investigating this issue and an update will be posted as soon as possible.

Thank you for your report. Unfortunately it's not suitable for immediate repair but we have forwarded it to our Asset Renewals Team who will consider it when planning their future works, and will be programmed for next year due to limited budget. Regards

Standard reply from council. Not reading email complaint. Elm drive had same reply but was resurfaced! Does anyone care.
