Road signage

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 11:23, Mon 10 September 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

The Henwood road has recently been resurfaced and is awaiting road surface signage. Traffic speeds very fast through Henwood, it can exceed 60mph as tested recently by the police, esp from Wootton direction as traffic approaches the bend. There needs to be clear 30mph signs on the road from the Wootton direction. The rumble surface that was on the bend has been surfaced over with new grit and disappeared. We need some sort of signage to slow cars please. lauriannao

  • Nothing is being done to slow cars driving through Henwood in both directions. The rumble strips are now gone and cars coming from Wootton are not slowing as they approach the bend.
