Not sure if it's the same problem as reported here, but there is a deep depression across the cycle path just to the north of the point where it crosses the road to the industrial estate. The tarmac has subsided where a cut has been made across the cycle path to lay a pipe. The depression could easily cause a puncture or unseat the cyclist at a dangerous place where the road to the industrial estate crosses the cycle path next to the junction with the A338.

Further to the update above, I noticed this pothole (what the previous person calls a "deep depression") yesterday when cycling from Grove to Wantage. Fortunately I saw the hole in time to avoid it but I can easily imagine someone not seeing it until it was too late, especially if it was getting dim. Again as the previous poster says, it is a very dangerous place to have a pothole. At the very least it needs something obvious there, such as a traffic cone, to warn people of it, until it is repaired.
