Parking sign has fallen off but seems to be the wrong one

A parking sign has fallen off a neighbour’s fence (1 screw is missing). However the sign lying on the pavement does not match what the original sign which was smaller (indicated by marks on fence) said ie residents parking only. The fallen off sign was possibly outside number 26 but is now in the pavement outside 24. The sign for 24 seems to have disappeared.
