Speed limit change covered

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 23:55, Tue 4 September 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

During the recent resurfacing of the road, the national speed limit signs were painted over, replaced with temporary speed limits whilst work was ongoing. The work has finished, some time ago, but these signs are still grey. Perhaps missed off the 'things to do' list. Please could you send the man with the damp solvent impregnated cloth along sometime to give us our signs back.

  • A vehcile crashed into the sign taking out the fence behind it.

Currently the sign is out the road, one part was leaning into the road and the other leaning out the ground with a large concrete bolder on the bottom.

This is right on the corner of the a420, the speed of traffic will easily move this street sign and cause another death on our roads
