Sunken trench across road

There is a clear piece of tarmac across the whole width of the road that has sunk. Danger for vehicles to cross as they have to go on the opposite carriageway when travelling towards Somerton Road. the junction with Portway is also close by.

  • This case remains open, even though the hole had been marked for repair it has now faded to nothing as it has been so long since it was marked.

  • Sunken trench possibly linked to Thames Water repair forms two 75mm deep pothole dips. In the tyre path of all cars, many vehicles use oncoming lane to avoid. As it is near an intersection and a blind hill it is not safe. Still not repaired.
