Overhanging tree branches
Reported in the Trees category by David Cook at 20:51, Sun 2 September 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
As previously reported and having only part been completed I am reporting this problem again - As you exit Pensclose on to Newland looking right you are unable to get a clear view of advancing traffic at speed - 30 mph - as the lower branches upon a mature tree are overhanging and need cutting back. The branches are to grass level and without advancing slowly in to Newland you are unable to get a clear view of traffic heading out of Witney - removal and clearance will prevent a future accident. In addition the pavement is restricted by these branches - please can all lower branches be removed as confirmed previously

I have reported this problem x3 times and was advised by the County Council that this formed part of their planned maintenance in June 2018. Perhaps they meant 2019. A visit was made and a temporary one side of the tree cut made Please would somebody else report the matter as clearly the Council are not getting my message.

There has still been no action despite reassurances and promises which when you look at the actual email trail this problem was going to be actioned as part of works due in June 2018
