Overgrown hedges protruding into the path
Reported in the Grass category anonymously at 19:46, Wed 22 August 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
As I started to walk onto station road I noticed it to be quite overgrown although I couldn’t cross as I couldn’t see traffic coming round the bend.
I walked along the path and it was really overgrown. The path narrowed considerably. I continued to walk along and the amount of hedge sticking out caused my pushchair to veer off into the road. Luckily there were no cars coming at that point I had to stand on the road and put the pushchair back on. A car was slowly approaching as I was putting the pushchair back on the pavement, saw us and slowed down.
How often is this maintained as this is such a danger it could have caused an accident.
Please can you look into why this is so overgrown and the path is not safe to walk along?
