Hedges very overgrown

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category by Louise Dixon at 09:46, Tue 21 August 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The hedges in this area are very overgrown and you can hardly see the Lucerne Avenue sign also near the Lucerne Avenue sign some of the hedges are almost over the pavement making it hard to get through. Can they be cut back please? Thanks

  • Thank you for your report. However it seems the pin you have placed is the wrong location, and we can't find the issue. If you can move the pin to the location of the issue and change the status back to 'open' we will investigate. Many thanks.

  • Hi, the pin is in the correct places the hedges I am referring to are in front of the Lucerne Avenue sign and that is where the pin is in front of the houses in the courtyard numbers 1-13, please re investigate the Lucerne Avenue sign is becoming covered up by the overgrown foliage

  • Location now found and pin is in fact in wrong local but not by much. I will need to do a land registry search as this will not be up to OCC to cut back. I will notice the land owner once found and ask them to cut back to acceptable standard. regards.

  • Glad you located it. Can you let me know who I can call to discuss this a name and number as on the deeds of one of the landowners who lives near the area it does not show they are responsible. Thanks
