Metal Bollard (protection from passing vehicles) has been removed and pavement filled in. Needs new bollard
Reported in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 11:23, Wed 15 August 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
High Street, Benson. (Opposite Benson Garage) Outside The Court House on the High Street. The old metal bollard was removed after being hit and the pavement filled in early August. The garage opposite parks their large vehicle on the opposite side of the road, so all traffic including buses and lorries has to use one lane on this side of the road where the bollards protected the buildings from potential impact. The buildings are in a conversation area and Grade II listed and are suffering from the intense vibration from the increased traffic. Can we please have another metal bollard installed to protect pedestrians and properties.
