Ramp from drive at 88 Staunton Road is too steep

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:15, Mon 13 August 2018

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 day, 19 hours, 9 minutes later

The ramp is almost impossible to negotiate without scraping on low-clearance vehicles. Council workman confirmed that the drop is too steep and that it is the council's responsibility to fix it, but despite numerous reports over the years no one has come to correct it. It is causing damage to bumpers on our cars as well as visitor's cars.

  • Thank you for your report. Unfortunately it's not suitable for immediate repair but we have raised it as a non safety repair. This means that a job has been raised to lift the drop in the crossing, but unfortunately I cannot give a time frame for these works at present.
