Overgrown trees along the length of Avenue, both sides
Reported in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 11:30, Mon 23 July 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
These trees are the responsibility of OCC. Residents of the Avenue complain these trees have become very large and not been pollarded for many years. Consequently, the amount of leaf debris that they have to endure is more than excessive. Additionally, the trees attract a strange little bug which seems to feed on the sap exuded from the trees. The sap and the bugs make a rather nasty, sticky and difficult to clean deposit, especially on residents cars and other outside items. Please could these trees be urgently pollarded. Reported on behalf of Wheatley Parish Council.

Hi, Does the update to “no further action” mean it has been scheduled ( if so,do you know when) or does it mean OCC will not be carrying out the work ? Thanks

Oxfordshire County Council has recently transitioned to a new system that handles reports from Fix My Street. We are checking a small number of reports, including this one, that are currently marked as fixed on our new system. If you consider this still requires further investigation, please accept our apologies and create a new report by clicking https://fixmystreet.oxfordshire.gov.uk/
