Conflict between north and west - turning traffic at roundabout

There's a dangerous section of road between the sets of lights on the south of the Kennington roundabout, shared between traffic on the one hand leaving and on the other hand entering the Abingdon Road. In particular, vehicles entering Redbridge Park and Ride from the west-bound A423 ring road, mostly take the left lane on the roundabout itself. (If they take the right lane, they're forced, in order to get to the P&R slip road, to cut across any vehicle in the left lane at the lights). This conflicts with vehicles in the shared section of road that are turning west, from the southbound A4144, Abingdon Road.
