Incomplete line painting

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 15:42, Wed 18 July 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

When the double yellow lines were painted on Alma Road last month in order to restrict parking, there were two vehicles which did not move when the day for line painting came, so the contractors just left gaps in the lines. These gaps are now being exploited by parkers, and I was wondering when there may be some remedial work here, to complete the lines?

  • The lines were painted on 21st June. The gap has been left unfilled since then. Cars continue to park in the gap, but also on the yellow lines themselves, with no obvious ticketing to deter anyone. This is a problem both on weekdays and weekends.
