Back to all reports

Drains on both sides of road completely blocked. Gutters also full of gravel & sand which will be washed down drains as soon as rain returns. This is the case through most of the village.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

An ongoing problem reported previously. As the roads are not swept to remove debris dropped by construction traffic the drains become blocked as soon as rain falls, resulting in flooding.

Updates

  • Please be advised that I have contacted the parish council regarding this issue & others, but have not heard anything back. I am looking to arrange a site meet to do an inspection of the issues within the village, but cannot get hold of anyone from the parish council to liaise with me on-site. We will assess this particular problem tomorrow, and hopefully we can get a resolution.
