Cars not stopping at zebra crossing.

Reported by naomi Rudman at 15:08, Fri 13 July 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 2 minutes later

Whilst out with a group of students doing travel training yet another car failed to stop outside Fitzwaryn school on the zebra crossing! All students and staff were wearing Hi vis jackets and the car in question had plenty of time to stop.

  • This happens all the time: this zebra crossing seems to be particularly prone to being ignored by drivers, particularly those coming from the south.

Not helped by selfish residents of 53/51/49/47 etc Denchworth Rd parking on the pavement/road, making the road narrower (they all have garages and large parking aprons round the back so there is no excuse other than laziness) and obstructing a clear view of the roundabout, the zebra crossing, and the school entrance.
