The road surface is breaking up over a length of 10 meters - the surface has a series of small pot holes, wet patches and seeping water (Possibility a damaged water supply pipe underneath?). Traffic entering the village trying to avoid the hazard move to the center of the narrow road posing a possible collision risk.

The road surface has been made much worse by the works carried out by Gigaclear and Thames Water as they have both dug up the road in this area and not properly "made good" the surface. To avoid damaging their vehicles, many drivers move to the right hand side of the road into the path of on-coming traffic.on a blind bend. Despite many reports Oxfordshire County Council has done nothing.
