Twelve acre drive Abingdon

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 09:55, Wed 4 July 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

I am a regular user of the footpath / cycleway heading from Peachcroft Rd to Radley . The road crossing at the Radley end of 12 Acre Drive has been unsafe for some time due to the fact that the crossing ( no actual traffic lighted crossing just a refuge in the centre of the road) is too near the junction, traffic density and speeds have increased and an overgrown hedge obstructs the view of the junction. The hedge has been trimmed in the past but the point of crossing is inherently unsafe. It is time to take a more complete action than periodic hedge trimming to prevent an avoidable pedestrian / cyclist death or serous injury
