Series of deep potholes East of bridge over Letcombe Brook

Very deep potholes constantly full of water (due to damaged waterpipe ?) which make it very dangerous as drivers cannot assess its depth so avoid it by weaving out into the middle of the road.

  • The problem now extends for 10 metres or more with lying water and a series of deep potholes 50-80 cm deep. Driving through these depressions, which are not obvious when filled with water can cause serious damage to tyres and steering.

  • The holes are now larger and deeper and cause serious and dangerous disruption to traffic as cars swerve to avoid the hazard.
