Series of deep potholes East of bridge over Letcombe Brook

Reported in the Pothole category by M B Jones at 09:54, Fri 29 June 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Very deep potholes constantly full of water (due to damaged waterpipe ?) which make it very dangerous as drivers cannot assess its depth so avoid it by weaving out into the middle of the road.

  • This problem has still not been fixed after months of reports and is only getting worse. The road has been closed several times over the last couple of months for other works and yet this issue has still not been resolved!!

  • It is an absolute disgrace that these potholes have not been fixed 6 MONTHS after it was first reported. They are now very deep and exceedingly dangerous as cars swerve out into the oncoming traffic to avoid damaging their suspension and steering. Why not actually spend the money recently granted by central government for repairing roads ?

  • Still not fixed, anyone who has had there car damaged by these should be able to make a claim, the council is clearly liable for this
