Footpath floods in rain

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Barbara Hickford at 11:31, Thu 28 June 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

This is an ongoing problem when it rains. This photos taken in afternoon of 31 May after light rain. Once it rained more, it flooded across the whole pathway as usual. You can see from the photo how little room there is already. The footpath is narrow so cannot step across it. It's impossible to jump across and there are no 'islands' to strep across. People have to try and squeeze into the bushes either side or get wet shoes/feet.

  • This is the short footpath on Alexander Close, the path taking you to the gates of the path from Oxford Road leading to Long Furlong's Loyd Close/Boulter Drive
