Drains set too deep in road surface
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 09:15, Thu 14 June 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
Southbound, after the road bends to the left, and before Barrow Lane: at least two drains are set too deep in the road surface or have too steep a drop into them. They are therefore like potholes in terms of driving over them. It is worse because this is a 60mph limit stretch of road so vehicles are moving fast. Sometimes it is not safe to pull partly into the northbound lane, so the alternative would be to slow down drastically, but that could cause a collision from behind. Other nearby drains are much better.
