Traffic Calming due to oncoming vehicles in middle of road
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 15:16, Mon 4 June 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
The bend is adjacent to the post box just after the Memorial Hall. In normal conditions it is OK but at times there are cars parked along the side of the road. When this happens cars are forced to approach the bend on the wrong side and meet on coming traffic head on. Please can this area be reviewed and some sort of control introduced.

Thank you for your report. Please could you provide a bit more information about the problem? Photos to show the extent would be useful. Cannot guarantee to be able to give this location a high priority for investigation but photos would be useful.

Short of putting in parking restrictions there is little the county can offer. Unfortunately there is a costly legal procedure required for this for which there is no funding. We have no recorded injury accidents in Ramsden. We will have to rely on those parking to do so safely and those driving past to be equally careful. I appreciate this is not entirely positive but if anything else come to mind this can be revisited.
