Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
Pulling out of the B4022 Banbury Road onto the A44 is becoming increasingly dangerous - I personally have nearly been hit multiple times and have seen plenty of accidents and near misses at this junction. The problem is it is a blind bend and the drivers exiting the village speeding over the 30mph limit and approaching the junction too fast. The 30mph signage for the village should mirror the other nearby 30 zones (Woodstock) and be more prominent with speed cameras or speed notifiers put in on this stretch of the A44 before there are further accidents or fatalities.
Thank you for your report, we are now investigating this issue and an update will be posted as soon as possible.

Another accident here today! The signage leaving the village has a very small 30 sign often hidden by the trees/ bushes overhanging. Please install a speed camera or use larger signs to make those both familiar and unfamiliar with the road know it’s a 30 and a blind junction.

We are checking a small number of reports, including this one, that are currently marked as fixed on our new system. If you consider this still requires further investigation, please accept our apologies and create a new report by clicking https://fixmystreet.oxfordshire.gov.uk/
