Unauthorised drive and damage to verge

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:43, Thu 24 May 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

The verge has been filled with hardcore to access a drive at this house in New street. As the kerb has not been let down properly or the verge surfaced properly I assume this is not authorised. This looks a mess and must contravene a load of planning regulations.

  • The same car is still there. It goes with all the others that seem to think parking or driving on verges is acceptable or legal.

  • This resident persists in driving over an undropped kerb and what is left of the grass verge. They should be made to obtain planning and do it properly or be restrained from crossing the verge and made to repair it.
