Grovelands Court is an independent living scheme for the elderly and consists of 29 flats in Grove, Wantage. Today, one of the ladies had a fall on the footpath at the side of the property. She was coming back from the co-op when her walker got caught in the ruts and raised pavement causing her to fall into the mud . A large tree is the cause of the footpaths unevenness, as it is lifting the tarmac. Many of the residents at Grovelands Court have complained in the past about the state of this footpath. In view of the fact that the residetns living here are elderly, I would appreciate if you would investigate and rectify the footpath before someone is seriously hurt by falling/stumbling. Thank you for your assistance and I look forward to your response soon.
Thank you for your report, we are now investigating this issue and an update will be posted as soon as possible.
