No safe space for cyclists
Reported in the Highway Schemes category anonymously at 19:52, Sat 5 May 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
No safe space for cyclists at Cutteslowe roundabout heading into city. It would not take too much to create a safe space at the lights and warnings to drivers that cyclists need to move from the bus/cycle lane to the outside lane to negotiate the roundabout. At the moment it is very unsatisfactory - worse because it is a new build with no account taken for cyclists.

Cutteslowe roundabout - heading into Oxford - ridiculously dangerous for cyclists - sandwiched between two lanes - no safe space/refuge at lights. Would not take too much to put in a safe space at lights, staggered lights for cyclists, warning to drivers to not overtake cyclists. Cycle lane beside serves no purpose as would have to cross to opposite side of road and then re-cross at lights further down Banbury Rd.
