Approacing a blind bend, there are numerous potholes that have had historic repairs that have now failed and the carriageway is now a danger for both motorists and cyclists. The bend is often flooded which will hide the potholes, thereby increasing the risk to both cyclists and road users alike. Council ref: 841954

The historically repaired potholes on the southbound carriageway of the B4507 between Ashbury & Wantage near to Ashdown Farm have been washed away as they are regularly under standing water that floods the road. The multitude of open potholes force motorists into the centre of the road on a blind bend or are hidden under water causing a significant hazard to all road users.
