Good Morning
I understand you have enquired about the bollard in Turl St. I’m sorry this is out of action. A problem with the equipment is being progressed. There is work tomorrow which may enable us to bring it back into operation but this isn’t guaranteed. We will continue to pursue any outstanding problems.

I don't understand why you've changed this to "closed" and "no further action" - until the bollard is working again then further action is required.

This report is not the responsibility of Oxford City Council or Oxford Direct Services who look after the fixed bollards. Please can any further reports of this issue be made under "Permanent Traffic Signals to ensure that it goes to the correct team at Oxfordshire County Council

"Permanent Traffic Signals" is not an available category on Fix my street.
Please can we have an update on when this (and the other rising bollards around the city centre) will be fixed?

My apologies, the category is actually "Traffic Lights (permanent only)" now.
This should get your enquiry through to the correct department within the appropriate Council, who would be able to keep you updated far better than we at Oxford Direct Services can

Other Fixmystreet reports have been updated by the Council and marked as "duplicates" to this report:
Https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/1520364
So I am loathe to start a new report, please assign to the correct department internally
The bollard is still not working. A recent enforcement action was taken to ticket drivers using the road, but this wouldn't be needed if the bollard was working. Please can we have a straight answer on what the problem is and why it hasn't worked for years?

This matter is not the responsibility of Oxford Direct Services. Unfortunately any update to this post is automatically sent to us rather than the appropriate department in Oxfordshire County Council.
However, I understand that Oxfordshire County Council are looking into replacing all the rising bollards around Oxford. However we are not currently involved with this scheme so are not able to provide updates.
