Updates
-
As expected no action taken by the highway authority. The condition of the carriageway has deteriorated further and this represents negligence. Any loss or injury resulting from the defects should thus now be claimable from the highway authority.

Still no action and the carriage way is a potential hazard to all users. Now the highway authority is aware of concerns and taking no action future claims will be more difficult to rebut.

No on site works and the weak carriageway is still suffering from traffic. The fact that the issue has been passed to another 'hand' in the highway authority does not mean the issue is closed! Action with works is what is required to close the report.
