I walked this road last night after the rain, and the drainage problem is now worse than ever. Surface water goes nowhere and just sits in large puddles along most of the length of this road, right next to the footpath. To make it even worse, the amount of mud piling up along the edge of the road just means that the water that is sprayed over pedestrians by passing vehicles is now muddy water ! At least 2 of the drains were full up to the top, and the other drains do nothing to take the surface water away because they are higher than the eroded road surface. Drainage is pretty much non-existent and it is pedestrians who continue to suffer. Once again, can something PLEASE be done about the state of this road.
