Street light not working

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 08:36, Wed 24 January 2018

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

Ref; https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 1124075

This light has still not been fixed, despite being reported over 4 months ago. This footpath is very unpleasant at the best of times, with fast traffic close by, useless drainage and surface water being sprayed everywhere, and pedestrians and cyclists who use this have had to go the whoe winter so far with large part of it unlit. All the information has been provided multiple times - including a photo of the actual light, and yet this light has still not been fixed. Why has it taken over 4 months so far, at the time of year when this light is most needed ??

  • Many thanks for bringing this to our attention, I am sorry this hasn't been repaired yet. Unfortunately we have a lot of faults on this route that need specialist traffic management. There was also a Christmas embargo where works cant take place for a few months, we are working with Traffic management to allow us to close this section of road to complete this and can only apologise this process is taking longer than what we would expect. Thanks again for raising the fault with us
