Many potholes on this road and since it is now main route from Curbridge into Witney (unless you take the Ducklington Road) is disgusting. One new tyre and rebalancing already and still over 2 months to go until main access road open

I would like to raise a complaint about the road closure of A4095 heading into Witney from Curbridge. Firstly this road was closed for a period of around 12 weeks not that long ago and both projects should have been timed together to avoid such distruption on two occasions within a year of each other if not months. Secondly this road closure doubles my journey into witney, which I have to do 4 times a day, can this cost be reimbursed? The diversion routes are both extremely dangerous with the roads too narrow for heavy traffic having no choice but to use them, not to mention the large lorries that push you into the verges. Both routes have narrow sections of road which do not have central road markings because they are too narrow, they also have some significant pot holes which need urgent repair. Both of these roads should have been prepared for such traffic conditions, widened, marked and pot holes repaired prior to using them as diversion routes. An accident occurred in the last few days on the diversion via Ducklington which is no surprise. One of many that have already happened and no doubt there will be more to come. I note that there are a number of shuttle buses, which appear empty when in use, please can you advise what these are doing in and around Curbridge?

‘We are sorry you were inconvenienced during the works, we do spend a lot of time trying to co-ordinate works, however unfortunately some delays and diversions are unavoidable’
