Failure to reinstate the white lines leading up to Advanced Stop Line's box

This road repair was carried out years ago and the contractor failed to reinstate the lines denoting the corridor used by cyclists to get through to their ASL box. Please also inspect junction at end of Friday Street. This problem is at Station Rd junction with Reading Road on Reading Road heading east.

Thank you for your report and apologies for not updating this matter earlier. Following inspection we note that the tarmac is becoming worn so we have forwarded it to our Asset Renewals Team who will consider it when planning their future works.

You have missed the point, it's not about some worn tarmac but the paint that's not there at all for the lead in approaching the advanced stop line used to enable cyclists to filter without drivers encroaching. PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION NOT TO PRIORITISE AFTER 8 MONTHS.

I think what was meant here is that the surface on the utility repair is not up to standard to repaint the lines effectively-thus this has been passes onto the relevant team to assess repairing the road. I will investigate further. Kind regards
