Surface in a very poor condition
Reported in the Countryside Paths / Public Rights of Way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 11:25, Saturday 13 January 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
The surface of the Sustrans route from Sandford Lane, Kennington to the Head of the River Pub in Oxford is in very poor condition. Cyclists get covered in mud where the surface has worn away and it's so bumpy, lights bounce off their fittings in the dark.
This is a particular problem as the road through Kennington has so many potholes. This means there is no safe way through or past Kennington for cyclists.
