Speed limit Markers

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 16:59, Thu 11 January 2018

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

To whom this may concern,

The Eastern Bypass Road between the Headington Roundabout and the Green Ridge Roadabout has no speed limit repeaters.

I was on my driving test today and the following occurred: I did not see the 50mph sign initially. Following that My instructors car indicated to me the road was 60 mph, there was no confirmation of the speed limit with signage on this dual carriageway I drove too fast. And for this reason failed my test.

This needs rectifying urgently so that other drivers/test candidates do not encounter similar problems. This lead me to fail my test and now I have to pay further costs because I have to resist the test/continue lessons.

Kind regards Sadie
