1 foot x 1 foot x 3inch deep pothole on northbound road
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 07:50, Thu 11 January 2018
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
This pothole has been here for a few months but has deteriorated and caused me to have a double puncture and broken wheel on my bike this morning (11.1.18). The pothole starts at joints between the road and is butted against the yellow lines.

As you are heading from the parkway traffic lights toward kirtlington, past the pedestrian crossing, there is a joint where the road meets the bridge on the left hand side of the carriageway. It is perhaps 10ft after the metal railings for the bridge start. Thanks for the prompt reply! I'm on 07545375530 if I can be of any more assistance. BW Jonny

This pothole is now some 30cm deep, and extremely dangerous for both motorists and cyclists. Cars are swerving late to avoid this - it needs sorting (properly this time) as a matter of urgency.

This pothole has deteriorated quite badly. Perhaps the easiest way to find it is to look along the kerbline until you see the chunks of asphalt astride the kerbage from the hole itself (near very crest of the bridge curve and on the northbound carriageway). It is on a metal bridge seam from memory.
BTW, sincere thanks for the many small patches along the Banbury Road between Kidlington and Oxford so far this year. All noted and appreciated.
