4 street lights not working

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
Along the footpath between Radley Green and Peachcroft, streetlight nos. 27 and 28 are not working and along the footpath running parallel to the stream numbers 17 and 18. I think there might be a few more. It's very dark in these areas at night now.

Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

These lights are still not working today - this is now over 3 weeks that the path has been dark & dangerous. surely it can't take this long to fix. perhaps a word to our MP might help!!!

Unfortunately it requires specialist equipment to access and the unit is currently working within another area of the county, I apologise this is taking some time to resolve but our current policy is our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period (unfortunately these units do not fall into this category. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.
