The street lamp on the bridge over Headington Hill is broken

The street light over Headington Hill on the bridge is broken, it has been for some time. This is my second report of this. It is a trip hazard as the pavement is very uneven around it .

Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.

  • I'm updating from the Service Desk at Oxford Brookes University - students have now returned, and we are experiencing a lot of concern over this area being so dark. Please can this be given urgent attention. Many thanks
