Timing of lights
Reported in the Current Roadworks - live information category anonymously at 08:12, Sat 30 December 2017
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
Traffic lights are taking too long to change to green from lower to upper Wolvercote. This is causing long queues on the Godstow Road making it difficult to pass on the way to lower Wolvercote. They are fine the other way at the moment. Why are these lights still temporary after 10+ years? They constantly break or go wrong.

Problem persists as of 2nd Jan. Now the Lower Wolvercote lights have been blown 45 degrees off centre and the wait to change can be up to two minutes, while the Upper Wolvercote lights change or stay green.
“Temporary lghts” - this problem has been ongoing since at least July 2004! A permanent fix/solution is needed for the village and the bus route.

Please can something be done about the lights on the bridge going out of Wolvercote , they take ages to change (if at all on some occasions) which is holding everyone up and causing large queues. I agree with others who ask why the lights are still temporary after so long because they are always going wrong.

The white line on the road where the driver should stop when the light goes light is very faint, almost gone and very hard to see in the afternoons. This could be very dangerous as if the driver is especially not familiar with the road.
