The pedestrian crossing of thames and Norfolk street opposite old grey friars road is dangerous for 2 reasons: 1. Thames street and Norfolk street run very close and parallel to each other and could easily be mistaken for a dual carriageway. There should be printed white markings on the street to advise pedestrians to look both ways 2. The central reservation at this crossing is too narrow to allowance number of pedestrians eg school children, prams, bikes to wait there safely. I discussed these issues with one of the site managers who stands on this corner monitoring the ongoing Westgate building works. He has already see several near misses at this crossing and despite raising his concerns, nothing has been done. Please attend to the signage URGENTLY as a serious accident /fatality as likely if no remedial action is taken as a priority.
