Vehicles parked causing serious H&S risk
Reported in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 09:16, Thu 30 November 2017
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
Lorries and Cars parking along Eyston Way causing serious health and safety risks. Road is becoming congested with parked vehicles making crossing the road very dangerous especially with the large number of HGV regularly going through the estate. Add to this the extremely poor condition of the road surface and you have a bad situation getting worse. The road needs to be resurfaced and parking restrictions introduced.

The installation of formal waiting restrictions (yellow lines) requires the implementation of a Traffic Regulation Order which involves a long and expensive legal process including full consultation, I regret that Oxfordshire county Council could not fund such a scheme at this time.

Serious H & S issues with the amount of parked cars and with HGV vehicles constantly using the road during normal working hours. Condition of the road is worsening day by day now and a new deep pot hole has now developed which will be a major hazard to those on motorbikes and cycles. Please be warned there will be accidents if this whole road is not resurfaced and some sort of traffic managements system put in place!!
