Ref: 339853 Thank you for your report; we have logged this as a fault on our management system. Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; these will be attended within a 24hr period. All other faults are logged on our management system, for efficiency, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.

There is also a non-working streetlight right at the bottom of Bedford Street in the turning area by school gates.

Six weeks further on and no repair work has been done still. The standard OCC response that "the contractor attends against a programmed [sic] of works" means that there is no way of knowing when any repair work may be done. Not good enough.

Unfortunately we currently are only able to attend emergencies in the first instance and have no timescale for outstanding faults but they are being carried out against a programme of works including date report was received.

The streetlight is still not working - that's three months now, on a part of the lane that's shaded by trees, and during the darkest period of the year.
