White road markings very feint

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:27, Tuesday 14 November 2017

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

The white road markings on this road, particularly at the roundabout with Aylesbury Road/North Street need repainting as they are very feint. After road repairs were carried out a while ago, the yellow lines were repainted but not the white. An accident waiting to happen.

Updates

  • Oxfordshire County Council refurbish road markings during the summer months when the weather is at its best and the thermo-plastic road marking material adheres to the road surface without the need to dry the carriageway and thus saving money, I regret that the budget for the installation and refurbishment of road markings in the South Oxfordshire district has now been fully allocated for this financial year, the road markings in Thame will therefore be assessed for refurbishment in the 2018/9 financial year.
