Dangerous Darrkness outside the local Co op.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Over 2 weeks ago I had a nasty fall outside the local Co-op and twisted my knee and hurt my back. as when i left the Coop I was unable to judge the footpath due a it being pich black. At least two lights in that area are either not working or are dimmed so much that people are continuing to have acidents out there. I reported this to WODC as that was where I believed I had to as it was not a Town Council Matter. i have since been told today that it is OCC who need to fix this. It is urgent as the path outside the coop leads onto a very busy road leading to the Community Centre Car Park the Health Centre, The Dentist the Vets and the local Co-op. I am still in pain and would hate for someone elderly to fall off the pavement or worse for someone to fall into the path of a moving car!
Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map or is prefixed with a PL, this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

The light column is numbered 03 & is just outside the Coop entrance. It remains unlit and is causing a dangerous situation
