Round about outside Morris homes and redrow
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 13:37, Fri 3 November 2017
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
Round about outside Morris homes and redrow. The line marking for the roundabout do not make sense when approaching the roundabout from Bloxham to Banbury. Especially when it is the opposite when approaching from Banbury to Bloxham. Should be in the left lane to go straight over a roundabout not on the right.

A361 approach New roundabout at entry to Banbury from Bloxham. Left lane should be left and straight on. Right lane for turning right. Absolutely senseless to go against general Highway Code advice unless there is a a good reason. Whilst local traffic will get used to it. Vehicles who do not know the roundabout will be caught out. I have already observed a vehicle going straight on from Bloxham moving back to left lane after the first exit only to find a vehicle already on there left. It was a close call.

You cannot see the road markings here at the moment because of all the filth dragged onto the public highway by tippers leaving the Redrow site.No effort is being made to clean them and the mess goes on for several hundred meters from the new roundabout. This is I believe against the law and in contravention of the Construction industry code of practice. It is certainly dangerous for anyone on a two wheel vehicle and is making my car ridiculously dirty.
