Street Light not working

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 21:12, Thu 28 September 2017

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

Men came and dug around a street light that was working today - 28th September 2017 - opposite 37 Buckingham St, our house. I asked them what they were doing and they just said 'the light'. They filled in the hole and left but the street light is now not working when it was working fine yesterday. The road is worryingly dark.

Updates

  • I'm sorry to contact you again about this. I was rung 30 minutes ago to ask whether the street lamp had been resolved opposite 37 Buckingham St. I said I thought so because men were here working on it. However, they have just knocked on my door to say that they can't get it to work. They have replaced the post etc. - which apparently was scheduled work - but they can't now get the light to work. I can confirm that the light was working fine without any problems until yesterday, and it now isn't since the guys started working on it yesterday. Dave Henley is the head of the team working on it.
